Oh yeah, here's how I feel. Thank you Goddess. We are all OK. Thank you to all who prayed and sent protection energy.

The fire came within 200 yards. The weather changed and we were spared.

Read a dramatic version here. Warning: bring Kleenex.

That article is sad! Glad you're okay though, I've been so worried! I called R, and then was thinking you'd be better to call...and then when I heard from Ed that Buzzard Lagoon was one of the places they were evacuating, I almost had a heart-attack. So they house is intact, or all the property too?

LOVE you guys!

I shared your story with my family and we were all praying to the Goddesses that your beautiful home would be spared! What a terrible thing to experience. Your post was so calm and seemingly put together...I really felt for you and was relieved to find out that things were ok. Wishing you well...

Wow! My husband was just asking, today, how it turned out. A new appreciation for every little thing, I imagine.

i am so glad your family and your beautiful homestead are safe. it was heart wrenching to read about your flee from the fire so shortly after reading about the beauty of buzzard lagoon. i have been to pema osel ling and know that area is just so incredibly beautiful. it is the first place my daughter ever camped (at just a few months old). a friend of mine just finished his three year retreat there!i hope that the regeneration of the forest brings a new kind of beauty into your life. but it sure would have been best if things would have remained as they were. . .
